"One thing we truly appreciate from Ray's Hope is the wholesome approach they give to each of their families."

About Denise Ray

Denise received an undergraduate degree in Biology from Colorado State University and Master’s Degree in Education from the University of Hawaii.  She fulfilled her graduate course requirements in Behavior Analysis through the University of North Texas’ nationally acclaimed ABA program and earned her Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) in 2013.
Denise began her career as a classroom teacher and has experience working with children of all ages, ranging from preschool to high school.  However, she has always felt a strong passion for working with children with special needs.  In addition to having experience providing ABA therapy to children with Autism Spectrum Disorders, Denise has devoted many hours to volunteering and working in the autism unit for RRISD.  She has experience providing 1:1 ABA therapy to children in the clinical setting and in the home.  She is also skilled in facilitating social peer interactions in structured group settings.
Denise uses her genuine enthusiasm and love of teaching to provide personalized training and support for families both in and outside the home.  Her keen insight, compassion, and strong sense of ethics have had a positive impact on children and parents, alike.
After frequent moves with the Marine Corps, Denise and her family decided to call Austin home.  Denise spends much of her free time with her husband and 2 daughters.  Like Denise, both her daughters also have a strong passion for promoting Autism awareness, facilitating positive interactions with children with ASD, and serving as typical peer models.
